Let her tell you about her Jesus

I liked this song the very first time I heard it and I think I even like it more now that I’ve seen the video and taken a prayerful look at the lyrics. It’s up tempo and lively and has a great message.

This video was recorded live in Nashville, Tennessee. That makes sense because it definitely have a country twang to it. Not completely my cup of tea but I love the lyrics and I especially love the victorious and overcoming spirit it projects.

If you need some holy pep in your step than you might want to give this a listen, or two, or three! Sing the lyrics for yourself along with the video on full blast all by your self somewhere. If you’re in your cubicle at work or the rest of the house is asleep find your headphones and catch the vibe, and most importantly, catch the Spirit!

Amen and amen. 🙂

A tale of two sisters

This piece of scripture has come to me a few times this month, from a few different places, so I wanted to share it with you this week.

38) Now it came to pass, as they went, that he entered into a certain village: and a certain woman named Martha received him into her house. 39) And she had a sister called Mary, which also sat at Jesus’ feet, and heard his word. 40) But Martha was cumbered about much serving, and came to him, and said, Lord, dost thou not care that my sister hath left me to serve alone? bid her therefore that she help me. 41) And Jesus answered and said unto her, Martha, Martha, thou art careful and troubled about many things: 42) But one thing is needful: and Mary hath chosen that good part, which shall not be taken away from her.

Luke 10:38-42, KJV
