I heard this again on the radio this week and I just had to give it a shout out. We all know how talented Dolly Parton has been throughout all of her career. So I have always respected her as an artist. Earlier this year she was one of the celebrities who filmed herself getting her vaccine shot. That’s what leadership looks like! It endeared this song, “God Only Knows,” to me during a difficult year.

I love songs and melodies that can double as prayers. Let’s never forget and always take comfort in this spiritual truth: God knows where we have been and what we have been through. He knows our hurts and shortcomings. He knows our failures and fears. He know our hopes and dreams. Let’s all strive to rest and find safety and solace in the palm of His hand.
